I&#039;ve never been faced with the challenge of quitting smoking, but I find writing down destructive behavior does make you aware of how disgusted you should be with yourself. I know personally that it helps with overspending and overeating. Once it&#039;s on paper, you&#039;re facing reality as opposed to the fantasy that exists in your head. Glad to see the principles apply to smoking as well.
