The other day, I was reading an article by Kelly Diels, who is fast becoming one of my favorite bloggers. Not only does she give good read, she’s Canadian, and you know how I feel about Canadians.
Anyway, she started a blog challenge: The Help Haiti Blog Challenge. She didn’t really have the cash to spare, but she did have something very valuable: her skills. She encouraged her readers to find a way to give – to find a way to raise money.
It would be hard to stroke a check?it just wouldn’t be enough. But I do have something that I can give: my gifts, my talents…my time.
I started to run down the list of my particular set of talents: writing, song-writing, marketing, editing. What could I give? Then it hit me! The little marketing business that I started last year could be of some use. It didn’t have to reside on a URL that I had long since abandoned. I could open up the little shop and help, especially in this economy.
I will donate 100% of any proceeds that I receive from anyone who needs his/her resume revised. And this is the kicker – there is no minimum charge. It’s whatever you can pay. It doesn’t matter whether it’s $1 or $100. I’ll send it all to Haiti.
So, whether you’re shopping for a new job, or you just want to dust that old resume off and get it updated, I’m your huckleberry. Just send your contact information through the contact form on my business website. We’ll discuss the payment that you can afford and 100% of those proceeds will go to Haiti disaster relief.
You can help others by helping yourself.

Now that's the Tiff I know and love! Can I be your first customer? I want to create a resume that showcases my recent love of graphic design, blogging and spreading the GOOD NEWS. We can negotiate a price. But in the mean time can I say I got $5 on it??? LOL!! Just kidding…really.
yes! of course! just send your current resume to bloominglater at gmail dot com (the spam bots! the SPAM bots!) and then fill out the contact form on my website at residuemarketing.com with the other information that you want to highlight. be sure to include relevant experience and i'll fix you right up! i'll also be adding some type of cart soon for payment. and no worries! if $5 is what you can afford, that's $5 more bucks to haiti. just search your heart! THANK YOU!!!
